Art are you going to discuss this with me? I had no idea about any of the history of ao or the shape that Scott had left you. Scott screwed me and I just want my MSO. I have all the paper work to back my story. I paid what my contract called for way in advance. The boat was very late and not equiped with all the options. I would like to drop the suit for my MSO. I am sorry for involving you in this I just want what is mine and I will go. If you would like for me to send you pic's of the fine workmanship on my boat I also have plenty of them that I will share.

Not too many builders like this. Most builders are trying to figure out how to make the most dollars off the customer. Ed I think alot of us would like to see you build again.

Re: american notshore
Questions for Ed: Is the AO hull a descendant of the original Chris Cat? Does the Awesome and the AO share the same hull design? Or more specifically the hull mold? They look awfully close in hull design but the deck and cockpit molds look different. So many different opinions floating (pun on words) out there. Please inform us as to the real truth! Thanks for all of your "shoot from the hip" comments. Us boat owners (and always potential new customers) need more boat builders/owners that take pride in what product they build and above all----------------Tell the Truth!!!!

Re: american notshore
Here is what i know... I know that Ed bought the molds from chris craft.. for the chris cat and retooled the cockpit to what he have today...
I am pretty sure that the Awesome cats came from the shadow cats, and therefore are not the same hull as the American Offshore 3100. I am also pretty sure that both the chris cat and the shadow cat were designed by the same person who i believe is George Linder. I believe that both boats share some similarities in the design but the tunnel area is different ( not huge differences) on each boat but, making it a different hull. Don |
