The stern of the boat had so many colors from previous owners that it would make your head spin. We were going to wait to paint everything when we painted some kind of design on the rest of the boat, but we decided to go ahead and do these things now to clean it up a bit. We had teal green, blue, red and yellow back there before. Now it is all blue and white to match the painted logo and stripe on the side of the boat.

We had them remove the old vents and install new ones with grab handles, remove and powder coat the stern rails white, remove and paint the exhaust trim rings, paint the drives and paint the tabs. Here is the finished product. I don't know if this blue color will stay when we paint a design on the boat, but for now it works and I think that it looks a lot better than it did.

I tried to get you to go, but you "had to stay and work." We had the only Apache there. It would have been nice to have Sacred Ground down there with us. Heck, I even told you that all you had to do was jump in the truck with us if you didn't want to take the boat. I had plenty of room in the truck, extra beds at the hotel and everything already paid for. You certainly missed a great time buddy. Next year I will "hit you in the head and throw you in the truck" if I need to! :D :p

Sacred Ground moved to the Chesapeake Bay for the rest of the summer so now we are all alone at the marina with nobody to play with. :(

I just got these pictures in the mail yesterday from the Florida Powerboat Club. They were taken during the Jacksonville Poker Run back in June. My favorite is the first one. I only wish I had a better scanner to do it justice.

Take the pic to Wal Mart. They have a scanner that will either make copies, enlargements or put it on a disk for you. Costs pennies- it's a DIY deal at their photo counter.

By the way Rob, she is down to 165K in the classifieds. Don't you need a boat to keep here in OC since Sacred Ground is over on the Chesapeake. One here and one there. How much better could life get? I am so confident in this boat that I'll even give you however many hours of service from Gary to go along with the deal. You know, it would even make a nice race boat for you too! If you do this deal you could tell everybody that you own a fleet of Apaches.

I saw it today at the marina as they loaded on the trailer,nice boat and well worth the money,trailer cost 25k alone
It's perfect to do a wild paint job,interior is good and it runs great,trailers new and the truck is awesome
