FYI, jokers 28 is not from the apache molds, if that is what you are inferring.

DirtyMoney 10-03-2007 06:35 PM

That is not what I am inferring. The reason I stated that is Brian is storing my 41 Apache molds for me. So before this thread gets crazy lets not try to determine what the next guy is inferring.

I'd like to hear about it, classic apache mold with todays technology, flat cool looking deck, whats not to like. do you have pics of the deck mold or anything that came out of it? the more an more I keep looking the more an more I may just find a hull and deck unrigged and take it to my choice of rigger and engine guy...

DirtyMoney 10-03-2007 08:28 PM

No I don't have any pics. That is the reason I bought the molds so eventually I can build what I want from start to finish. I got busy with work and lost time to do anything with it and ended up buying a Scarab for the time being.

My 41 mold was actually the Cigar boats mold that once had a step insert. The mold was pulled from the Team Apache banner boat in the late nineties. The 21 mold is the original with the later of the decks.

nice , love learning the history of where things came from. No 41's ever had a step, was there ever one made that is still around? Could the chief boat been made from this mold ? I was told the hull and deck were laid up in 98/99.

Kinda hard to sell a boat when guys call to buy it and you refuse to tell them how much you want dont you think?

If someone knows any numbers on Mel's 28 let me know via PM please.

I agree - thats pretty rude. What, do they think its priceless or something

I found this 28 apache on Ebay - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Apach...QQcmdZViewItem

It was for sale here on OSO for a little while. They wanted $35K back then.

ar15meister 10-15-2007 12:48 PM

I am guessing you have called about that boat........

Makes no sense.... a boat for sale with no price.

If these things werent so rare we wouldnt have to deal with that kind of crap but they are! And they are damn cool....which is why I am going to put up with it and probably call again:rolleyes:
