I really dont have anything to compare it to except my Donzi's I owned. I think it ran well, I will know more on sunday, I did enjoy taking it to the gas station for the first time, I had my pic taken several times and felt like a rock star

I'm thinking Pfaff power.......something extra reliable.......but some 496HO's would be nice too. Or maybe I'll wait until Merc comes out with a supercharged 6.2.

Those 10 hours were the best boating I have ever done in my life.

So sorry to hear about your misfortune. Hopefully you can get things rolling again quickly. If you are up towards LOTO you are welcome to hop in with us.

Thanks for the comments guys, that helps.

Thanks for the offer Vyper, but I can't really move the boat outside of the Texoma area. I may take you up on that next spring if my game plan doesn't work out.

Apache Bill - boat looks great on the water. Let us know how you like it in the rough. Maybe I'll pick up on your thread when I clean up the bilge this winter. I figure while its sitting I might as well repaint or clean up the bilge and replace as much plumbing as I can. I'm actually looking forward to that. We've already got the two engines out and one off to the shop.

Oh ya Earl, I guess I should start a thread about how my boat only ran for 10 hours and was sold to me by an OSO member who said it was a great boat in great shape. I guess I know how to deal with my own problems. Piss off beaker.

My overheat problem was caused by 2 bad sea water pumps and clogged oil cooler's, I recivedmy new sea water pumps today and flushed out my oil cooler's, I will have it back on the water this weekend!!!!! Hey Andy don't tmind the B.S. Start a thread about you project, it might help out some other board members!!!!!
