Thats great Bill, I hope your engines last longer than mine. I put on 10 hours before one let loose during the 4th of July weekend. 30 hours on a rebuild............ I wish I had your budget, I think it will have to sit for a year or two before I can save enough to repower. I'm thinking Pfaff power.......something extra reliable.......but some 496HO's would be nice too. Or maybe I'll wait until Merc comes out with a supercharged 6.2.

Those 10 hours were the best boating I have ever done in my life.

Andy, You blew a motor? That sucks.....at least you have the Sea Ray to get out on.

Thats right chief, and the sea ray doesn't cost me any money. And I can get chit faced and make the women drive me home I'm trying to stay optimistic. It took me 4 years to get into a boat like this, so if it takes me another 2-3 years to slap in some power that will last 10+ years then I guess thats not so bad.
