About the Apache... I was on the warrior 36 from miami to the keys last week. The boat performed flawlessly under all circumstances. Givin a brand new out of the box first time out in the ocean, we incurred absolutly no failure or problems of any kind. Rough water ride was smooth and controlled with soft landings. Bobby and Eric are both really great guys and stand by there product 100 percent.

I wish that's all I had to worry about in life is who's boats better or who's boats faster. I could really give a rip. The bottom line is we all buy what we like, becaus it fits our needs, wants, budget etc. I don't know about you guys but I boat for fun, to be with my family and to get away from it all. If you guys blow by in 5 footers, or whatever conditions have at it. I get the feeling if we would all get together for a boating event alot of fist fights would break out because somebody thinks their boat is better or faster. Sound like fun! Not. Buy what's right for you! Get a life! and Get a little LOVE!

Medicine Man - If you are refering to me, I am in the process of buying at this point. I have owned several boats in the past, performace and cruisers. I did'nt know it was requirement to currently own a boat to post an opinion or share knowledge on this board. What if I said I own a 1929 Cris Craft with a 4.5 hp Evenrude motor would it make a difference? I just think people are getting to carried away trying to convince everyone there boat is the greatest. Isn't it all about having fun!

Yo MEDICINE MAN...every company has had a few problems. i have personally seen quite a few apache's (28's, 36's, 41's) with broken stringers, cracked hull & decks (right up the sides onto the deck), transom replacements, etc.

so do we all so why get out of shape? Size for size, power for power, that apache will NEVER keep up with todays technology...has been, wannabe's. don't get me wrong, the apache is a nice boat, but so is a 57 chevy. it's just that the 57 can't hang with a new vette!

I just want you guys to know that I agree with some of you, that though this may be the Apache board, you guys are welcome on our board or any other board for informational purposes, thats what OSO is all about. Different strokes for different folks, its just great to be on the water, than sitting on the sidelines, wishing you owned a boat. If at anytime you guys would ever happen to see me or my boat, please stop by and say hi. I also enjoy looking at different boats, and the pics that are shown above look awesome. I think I have seen you in Cocktail Cove. Purple Apache 41?? Always 10 to 15 blondes on board...... This is the first year for me and the Apache, I used to frequent cocktail cove in my Baja 24 Outlaw (did I say Baja).

Mike, It has 509ci 600hp each and has run 85mph on gps. The swim platform is factory. I will post a picture of the engines this week. The paint was done by Chris Carney of Beach Party Grafix in PA.

good to hear from you. I have not been able to do anything yet. I am Bergen County Sheriff's Officer And have been spinning since 9/11. It is sad to say since that date I have not been able to get down south. I worked 16 hours a day 6 days a week up at the George Washington Bridge untill december so I did not even get to call typhoon to have winterized and wrapped untill then. It must be flithy. Then on top of that I just had a baby last month so I really haven't had time to explore any power options. I just cannot wait to clean it and get out on it.
Hopefully if I keep on working crazy O.T. I can afford a new Apache . Very funny how I spoke to Eric and Bob on Friday and how busy they have been. Being they are out of business

I love the Apache's too bad there isn't more of them .
There was a 47 with triple 1000's called "Broken Arrow" on the lake I boat on and when it went by all I could do is stare and get goosebumbs on my arms !:cool:

Is there anyplace that Apache apparel , pictures ,posters, etc can be purchased ? I have a room in my house dedicated to "offshore " memorabilia and it needs some Apache stuff !

Last summer I was driving on I94 (Detroit area) and saw a license plate bracket that said "Fort Apache" on it , I wonder what model that person owns .
