Sunkin - don't you have your own site you can talk chit on? How do you claim to be a serious offshore powerboater when your boat hasn't even run for the past 4 years.

Why don't the both of you put up or shut up. See who finishes their project first. Give us something good to read.

Please point out the errors or mis-statements in anything I've posted here today. All I've done is make available to Ed the opportunity to add some actual experience with the things he's writing about to his inventory.

As for the last couple years- I addressed that in an earlier post. I'll ask you the same question- what have YOU done to better the sport? But I really don't need a boat. I have hundreds of friends and open invitations on every decent piece of water in the country.

I have contributed my project thread, albeit not much but will hopefully help a young guy like me get a better grasp on what to expect should he buy a used 28 Apache. I also do my best to help out of towners when their visiting my home lake.

You came on here bragging about all your serious offshore members. SO just WTF makes you such a serious offshore boater when your boat hasn't even run for the past 4 years? Oh yah, I forgot how you constantly like to remind people that you have open invitiations on every decent piece of water in the country. You must be so proud. You should spend more time working on your project instead of mooching off of other's hospitality. Just last year you were bragging about never having to come back to this site. So why are you back? Can't you start a thread about White Lightning on your own site? So funny reading through your forum rules about leaving your attitude off the forums, yet your here for the sole purpose of stirring chit up.

I have no argument in any of this but for what its worth Chris has had me going through the glass and paint on his Cig consistently over the last year and it is just about ready for rigging. It is one of the cleanest 35's i have ever seen. I believe his philosophy is "its done when its done".

I like boats . . . an i like boaters . . . all i got to say bout that

carry on . . . . .

My purpose here is to set the recod straight when uninformed trash-talking starts to fly. So far today we've had a guy talking pure rubbish about a boat design he's never even seen, let alone run on. And then he passes on an opportunity to do just that, 5 minutes from his house.

And then we have you, his defender. And it seems to pi$$ you off that after 30 years in this sport that I've made some friends. Wanna' know the secret? doing whatever I can to help other people without asking for anything in return.

There's no attitude- just direct questions for you charachters. None of the answered directly, I might add. And how much more fair and accommodating can a guy be? To hand-deliver an opportunity like I offered right to someone's doorstep? Who else has ever done that?

Yeah- right now there's just no time to work on my Apache. Or my half-completed Cig, or the Cig 24. Or anything else. That's unfortunate, but it's a choice I made and I'm OK with it. But I can always find time to slide over here and dish out some actual facts to you keyboard commandos.

Not defending comanche. I merely suggested the both of you should put up or shut up. You started a website, sought to discredit this one. Only thing you have to back up your "serious offshore" status is a bunch of broken down boats and your bragging rights as the biggest moocher in boating and now your back here stirring chit up........again.

You having friends doesn't piss me off. What pisses me off about you is your overwhelming audacity to play dick tracy everytime some boater isn't 100% pleased with his used boat purchase or engine build and giving little thought about how much of an impact your blackballing has on someone's business. You use the forums as your own personal tool to blackball people in the boating industry and individual boaters. You did this when you started your website. You sought to inform the whole board how bad you thought this website was, just like you do when some azzhat say's so and so riped me off without gathering all the facts. You went after me with your gay azz preban TexomaPowerboater thread. You've gone after my friends too. What goes around comes around.

Glassdave better hope you don't miss a spot; you couldn't pay me to do business with Sunkin.

Please find me something I've posted or any person that will say that I've ever said one thing unfairly critical about OSO. Just one thing. That shouldn't be so hard for you, should it?

As far as put up or shut up, I did. I'm bringing the boat and the man directly to the doorstep of the person doing the stone-throwing. What more can I do?

P.S. You were never pre-banned. Never. Stlll not to this day. Even though a number of people mentioned you by name, not once was the practice considered for anyone other than a couple of very bad people. As for what's "coming around", you know where to find me.

Tex, this isn't about Chis. For me a lot of this started years ago when the groupies did the same thing with Chief......

Rewind some years; I was seeing all the crap go down with the Chief so I contacted the people I knew who were involved, on all sides, and got all three sides of the story and put it together. I didn't sit here and believe everything that was typed or insinuated. In fact, half of what was said was fabricated or twisted around. I attempted to shed some light on the subject but no one wanted to listen. In the end a solution between all parties were made, end of story.

So now when recent insinuations were made about the 54' Apache it was said that it was not true and it is all the fault of the owner, what a mess! So I did the same thing and got all 3 sides and put it all together... Still the groupies fail to see any wrong doing on the part of their hero.... In the end the owner just took his stuff, left and got a different rig.... To be continued.....

And now the same goes for the Legend... It's proved it's a sold boat.... All the talk about stealing the design or this other nonsense about copyrights... The groupies just want to bash it because it wasn't built by McManus and it actually turned out to be a really nice rig, maybe even better than the traditional design...

So now I see Comanche's post about Apache in the new Win a Statement thread... Why??

Why is it always a double standard?

So anyway, I heard an interesting quote in a TV show last night; "There's no room for truth on the internet"
