They should probably update to the more modern reverse step bottom! Good thing Legend didn't use that bottom design! There was some advanced naval technology! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sure, I happen to like classic boats even though they are antequated....

The rest of the industry has moved forward and advanced their designs.

Hey, since you brought it up in a round-about sneaky way, I'll go there..... Even Saccenti knew to advance designs but only to a point, not to effect rough water capabilities. The 36' have had steps as an option for a long time, his 22' had a pad since the beginning. His 42' is 7-10 mph faster than any "pleasure" MM 41' or 42' Comanche with equal power and I didn't hear that from him, it came from the riggers who have done them both.

PS, check the rear 6-8 ft of your boat and make sure it has rocker....

That is not the speeds BoatMe reported.....Pappo still can't get the smile off of his face after that fabulous buying experience. I know...it was somebody elses fault. It always is with the "Miami Shuffle" We all remember the thread by the owner.... Horrifying!!!!!!!

Boat runs 98mph with 900's and that has always been the reported speed so don't try write history like MM wrote himself into a lot of history.. . There is NO full pleasure 41's that will reach those speeds with equal power and that I can bet on! Some of the light lay-up and non-cabin models did but that's about it.

I think with a little testing and different props it would see more than 100

another cool part of this boat is the reverse chine
It carves turns like you wouldnt believe
PS, the new owner loves his Chief, no more drama and it's maintained by the builder.

98 mph is not 7- 10 mph faster. And I believe the engines were Chief 950's. With 1.4 billion dollars Dmitry Zelenov can go through a lot of powerboat companies and still feel great! And he is and he does! Maybe he will buy a new Legend!!!!!!!!!

41' with same power will run mid/upper 80s in a "full pleasure" model.. If there's a following sea, 30 mph tail wind, 5 gallons of fuel it might crack 90 mph. Anyone else who tells you different is probably lying.

PS, I bet the Legend runs faster than an Apache and Comanche!

so it's ok for MM to rip off a Russian because he's rich by taking a lot longer than it was supposed to take to build then not not deliver on his expectations and it's everyone else fault......

It seem's there's a double standard when it comes to your hero MM.....

Miami Shuffle moves to Ft. Myers...
