I wouldn't think it would run real well especially in any type of rough stuff because you couldn't keep it hooked up.....Rik and I have had this conversation a few times in the past and NO NOTCH is the way to go!!!

looking at another 41 with 6s..u wont have 2 travel to far 2 go 4 a ride..only 2 fond du lac..we r the mercury hometown dealer..7 time CSI award winner..hope al is well with u..

Technically for a full Stagger but for a standard side by side or even a short stagger could use a filler panel only where the drives are mounted so that they mount correctly.

When you say filler panel do you mean a panel that is bolted in place of the notch or is the panel glassed in. Do you have any pics of how the panel is filled in. I would just like to see how involved it is and if the integrity of the transom is compromised. Just trying to picture it. Thanks
