You don't hear them knocking Saber who was able to produce the same boat with newer technology like they are claiming to do in less time and for half the price. Will there boat even be an Apache when it is finished besides a name they may or may not be able to use. I mean new molds, new owners, designers, and builders. All I can say is "What's in a name?"
|
Does Saber still produce boats? This is an honest question.
|
i was there a two weeks ago they are busy doing rigs and repairs and reding the 41 for Nauti Kitti
I havent seen em build a new boat in quite some time |
Spitfire 1,
Yes, that is our '36 THUNDERSTRUCK. Looks like that was in Lauderdale at the APBA race back a couple weeks. What were you out in? Had a blast on the boat that week, she sure did dance in those swells! Magnum Marks also ran unbelievably awesome in those sea's. So for a few old resin buckets, we do pretty darn good. And we are proud of it! Will be down on Saturday, probably will make a stop at Bahia Cabana. Are you game? I'll buy. Thanks, Little Tommy :p |
Hey....I just might take you up on that......that is my boat in the foreground there....Greg...aka "the Spy" took that pic from his Gun......I may have to work this weekend, but if not...I will be up for a little boating.....let me know......later...Rich

WarParty,
DO you ever bring that great Apache to Florida during the winter months? I would love to see her up close. My wife says that it is her favorite of all time. It sure is a beauty. Little Tommy |
I was just going to post the same thing...beautiful graphic....who did it?? Nice........
|
Hey Rich,
Let me know if you free up. I will have the cell on. 1-414-349-8567. We will be joining Mr. Saccenti and Holly later that evening, but plan on doing boating the whole day. Would like to meet up with you. I think I have seen your boat around Lauderdale often, in fact I think I have even seen you leaving Bahia Cabana on it. How long have you had your cig? I beleive I was interested in that boat back about 2 years before I bought the Apache. The graphics are real catching, beautiful. Little Tommy |
Could have been....I have had the boat just over two years now....I usually stop at the cabana on the way home.....yeah...would like to hook up...my number is 954 873-5046.....I should know by friday what it looks like...
|
If ya'll are around for the show we should all hook up one night. How about Runway 84?
Robert |
Yeah....good place......know one of the bartenders there.....will take good care of us.......:D
|
Hey Tonto and Spitfire 1,
Great idea. Where it runway 84? Tonto, Jimmy Wambach says to say hello. We had dinner with him along with Magnum Mark and Bobby. Your name came up in the conversation. Jimmy was one of the guys who got me into the elevator trade, have known him for 20+ years. Anyway, we were talking boats, what else. Little Tommy |
One more thing,
There are great pictures of some Apaches in the latest copy of Family and preformance boating. Steve Nykamps Dragon's breath, Steve and Brenda's Blue Moon and Roger from Ohio's '36. Sure is nice to see some of Bobby and Eric's superb work! Gosh, they sure have something to be proud of. Rock on, Little Tommy |
State Road 84 west of Federal HWY on the south side of 84.

It kinda needs carpet and a couple of other things so maybe this Winter it will be there. Cmon Bub (Warparty36):D  |

I had to have 10 posts to put up the links. And before someone brings up the federal rights. These decisions were affirmed by the Federal Superior Court by default.

so if all trademark names and logos are owned by bobby, eric and mark mcmanus, what do the new owners actually own apart from old molds which they are not planning on using anyway if i undestood everything correctly?
