WarParty,

Like nykamp had suggested earlier, give Bobby S. a call. He still has his crew available for interior work. Infact, he is doing some work on ours this winter.

As for touch up, Gail probably was your original boat painter. she will also be in the Lauderdale area for the winter along with Tommy Evans. They certainly can take care of your needs. Would be nice to have the original painter that knows your boat touch it up as she is going to do to ours.

I have Bobby's cell # if you would like it.

If you plan on bringing it to the area, there are a few of us Apache's working out of Spinnikers on 135th and biscayne.

Give me a call if you need info on anything.

Tommy are you going down on the Key West Poker Run ?

I am referring to who built the actual 41 Apache's and who was the driving force behind them. I was under the impression that Dano, was the person who built every single 41 and 47. That is a straight fact. Correct?

Damn Straight.

Finally, some credit.

Okay I need to know what the deal is with all the people with less than 20 post that know so much about this topic?

What are you trying to say ? None of us boaters would ever post under a new name, just to see what people are saying.

He definitely is right. The trouble always seems to come from new guy's that end up disappearing.

The difference, between them and me is. I waited a little while before I started bust'in balls.

Now, I don't give a f**k.

See Patience is a Virtue. ( Damn, it . Dad was right")

I'm thinking of starting another User Name and then fighting with myself. That way. I alway's win.

See. If some of you clowns were as immature as I am. You would see how amusing you are.

Tell Jimmy I said hi. I'll be down for the Lauderdale show if you're around, I should be near McMannus's both.

Scott
Yes, I snuck in for the weekend. Went to Wloffie's party and a great time. You going to Lauderdale?

Robert

super termoli 10-16-2003 06:18 AM

sorry guys. i never meant to start the bickering all over again. i just wanted some info in order to understand what is really going on. kinda like a TV soap, when you miss first episodes, it's hard to know what's going on. anyway, i started another thread in order to gain more knowledge without the bickering but did not get many replies so i was forced to post here with questions which are a bit more directive and provocative. i do understand things a bit better now although i think that a court would have to decide who owns the rights on Apache name and logo if that question comes up in the future!

stinger312 10-16-2003 08:40 AM

Howz about getting an interview with Ben Kramer and asking him some questions ? (nuttin like playing kick ball with a hornets nest)

Zoomnfun 10-16-2003 10:57 AM

I wonder if anyone will acknowledge that McManus built that 41 mold for Don. It was his project, thats where the history began folks, credit where credit is due.

stinger312 10-16-2003 11:39 AM

Aronow was the designer right????

LEOPAJM 10-16-2003 12:32 PM

At this point ... I have to ask a question ....... After all the stuff thats been put up here over the last TWO years on this subject ... good and bad .... What difference does it make who built a certain boat ? Or who designed it ? Or whatever ....

Does it "run well" at speed ?
Does it "work" for "your" application ?
Will it take a beating , and "LAST" ?

Hell ... I don't care what the guys name was ... I want to know I can go out there and beat the crap out of it for two hours and know that the boat can take more punishment than I can !!!!

boatme 10-16-2003 02:14 PM

WELL SAID JERRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WickedWon 10-16-2003 02:34 PM

Jerry , sit down and shut up you halfbreed driving Apache wantabe. You have no right to comment after paying half of what a real Apache cost !:D .........how come mine was so damn expensive............hmmmmmm

Now back to our reguarly scheduled bickering.........

Thank you Little Tommy, I will PM Bobby so he can get back to me when he gets a chance. Last time I talked to him, he was a busy man. Is Spinnikers north or south of 188th? It sounds like it is pretty close to our condo. Do you know how much room they have? My buddies are going to keep theirs at American Offshore, unless we can come up with something better.

I hear ya Sling ..... However , and once again ... we're going way back to "THE APACHE thread" ... If someone REALLY wants one ... word has it that you can still have one built !?!?!? (It just won't have steps and look "exactly like nothing else")

I'm not so sure many people want to "buy" a new 41 Apache , as much as they just liked the idea that it was back again ... out there like a sacred monument to be worshipped ...... Time will tell ... or will it ?

Leo, I do the same thing. The only reason I'm here is cause I'm in the office this week. I promise myself I'll stay away and here I am, again.

Must be an addictive personality, same thing that keeps me in this ridiculous hobby.
