When was the last boat produced?? Have there been any new ones put out yet?? Sure seems like alot of huffing and puffing over nothing.......... Its kinda the reverse of lockheed skunkworks, they build and fly planes but deny it. Apache builds boats but nobody can find them!! The ultimate stealth technology maybe????

Steve-

From what I've seen, it's far from a first class operation. For that, it has to start with first class at the top of the operation, and flow all the way down the company organizational chart.....including the receptionist. From an outsiders point of view looking in (myself), it seems like a company rotten to the core. I am fortunate enough in life to be in a position to buy a high 6-figure boat if I wanted to. Would your company make my short list......absolutely not.

Thank you for your invite, but for now, I'll wait to see pictures of a finish product. A new Dragon would be more my style anyway.

Ladies and Gentlemen (and all of those who don't fall into either category)

I am posting on this thread in an attempt to say what Sean wants to say, but isn't encouraged to because he isn't in the mood to be diplomatic. And he might offend without meaning to. So lets see how good of a job I do translating.

First off- would I buy an Apache from a man in a pin-stripped suit??? HELL NO!!!!!!!! (that's straight from me). I totally agree with Mr. Saccenti with the opinion that the "will work for food" owner/operator has more incentive to produce a quality product as opposed to the "millionaire mougle" that just wants to have the name and/or company for bragging rights.

You see...people like the one in question generally have no morals or ethics. (the facts to back up my statement are well documented through out this forum as well as others). They tell you what you want to hear to your face and then as soon as your back is turned, you feel the sting of being shot down (please refer to the picture posted by Mr. Saccenti).

Some of you might ask how I know so much or why it might matter to me...Well frankly folks, I have personally been screwed over by one particular mougle that didn't seem to care that Sean and I had a family to take care of, or what might happen to us if all of his promises didn't come to fruition. He was only concerned about what he could get out of the deal, and apparently he was satisfied with the pictures, paperwork, and files that Sean left in the shop on the basis that he would return and that they would be taken care of, that now have been riffled through and part of which decorate the Apache offices. You know they could atleast say thank you since they don't have any intention of returning them.

I genuinely wish all of the best to the new Apache, and I'm not trying to offend anyone, but how long should someone bite their tounge and watch this play out before they say something. And to you Mr. Saccenti- I admire your tact and elloquence for waiting as long as you did.

Now let me jump right off that soap box
Terra

Oh BTW- Mr. Scott Grady was in Terre Haute today, Sean tried to call him but he said that they made him check is phone at the front gate....wonder what he was doing there??????

Steve, no offense intended, it just seems crazy to me that no one in management is a designated spokesman.

We all have our strengths and weaknesses.

Fred.....how many companies (successful or not)? None. It is really unbelievable. They have destroyed their potential market (which wasn't very big to begin with)......all by themselves. Back-stabbing, name calling, broken promises and everything.

Here's a promise. I'll donate $1000 to www.cancer.org for every new boat that they deliver in the 2004 calender year. You can take that to the bank. Do you think it will be more than $0? Hopefully for the charity's sake.

IceAngel 12-10-2003 09:45 PM

Well said Nort, and very generous I might add. Because of that I hope they deliver a thousand. But I won't hold my breath.

Please PM me your cell #, I have someone that is very anxious to talk to you. (would it help if I told you that she is HOT)

I also applaud Bobby on his post. As a very dear friend I know all too well how long he has been holding back. He was hoping that all this back stabbing B.S. would end. Unfortunately, he had to defend himself, even though the tribe has been behind him and defending him constantly.
I for one have no use for 3 piece suits. They are most of the time out for one thing. I have always given little guy trying to make a go of it my money first. You see, I am also one of those people that have to work for everything I get. No one ever has handed me anything. I appreciate the hard working class of people. They are always thankful, honest and will give you the shirt off their back.
I am fortunate to know one of these people, and his name is Mr. Bobby Saccenti. And Don't ever forget it.

Spirit World 12-10-2003 11:43 PM

The Spirits are upset with all that has been said. The golden arms were passed to bring the dream of a New York kid to life. WE were pleased with the results, the competition was not. As the years have went by the tribe was represented well by the New York transplant. WE thank him for the heritage. The name does not hold the aura, it is the people. The builders the racers, the owners, the managers they are the true heritage of the tribe. Be proud, do not take the low road. The tribe is still alive, but we, the spirits, think the Name has been scared and burned.

Out of the Ashes the Phoenix will rise again. Once again we will call on the New Yorker, now the chief and his team, to again assemble the tribe and make the Spirit World Proud.

Look out, The Spirit World is about to make a Statement !

We are again Warpath !

The rest soon.

ScalpTaker36 12-10-2003 11:45 PM

The 3 reasons why no more than 1 Apache will ever be built is very simple.

3. They have decided that they don't need no stinking customers.

2. Delaying the inevitable: Once word gets out that the boat is a flop, the 100K guys will be out of work.

1. There is only going to be 1 Apache owned. That will be by Mr. 2.3 Million, and that is what that one boat is going to cost him.

Hey Bobby,

Now That's some write off!!!

See ya in January

What the Hell is the Opinion of a Canadian Porn guy got to do with anything? The only thing inferior here is you!

Hey tell you what I will send the guys looking for money from BS to you like Scotty the painter and couple grand. And that $1500 petty cash owed to me.

Fred Sir I am not the spokes person for anyone but myself! I mean look at this thread... come on; I should have the right of rebuttal...Only Fair.

Tonto Wrong again!! Look I really resent that remark I have never done DRUGS in my life. Period BTW where were you mentioned...Also should thanking Wilson and OSO for the revival of the Apache name your boat is worth more... Lighting up??? Personal experience??

No Tonto I have enough exposure to chemicals just in the Back of the shop.

36 Do not busy yourself over us for going from Basic drawings to checkered flags has been the usual case. And be Thankful you did not get that resin filled Monstrosity they were building for you. Thad returned your money right?

Jack more Apache history look at the Threads which predate and caused the Whets in a name thread ….the authors!!

Tommy you should be working sanding/grinding those 6 full length Suction Cups off your bottom instead of wasting your time here... See free advice... maybe you will break 80...

Steve 1 12-11-2003 05:57 AM

Alive and swell ringing a bell

SS930 12-11-2003 06:40 AM

Can this thread possibly get any worse?

Fred,
I didn't think you'd join the clan. I kind of thought you'd at least avoid the 'group think'.

Steve,
Keep building your boat and let it speak for itself (although judging by the audience I doubt it will ever get a fair evaluation on OSO). You're not going to win a battle of words here, you're fighting a 20 on 1 fight. You'll only tarnish your integrity. Build the boats and see who has the last laugh.

All,
Don't you think this has been covered pretty thoroughly up to this point? Bob, Apache, new owners, history, legal issues, construction, blah blah blah... I think we have pretty much beaten the dead horse enough, it's just embarrassing at this point. :(

Zoomnfun 12-11-2003 07:30 AM

Personally, I'd like to see Bobby take the 2 Steves and the new owner for a real offshore ride and scare the sh** out of them. As in, Warpath air shot, go ahead and tell us you have that kind of experience. I doubt it. The disrespect shown to him is unreal...you guys have no class.
Hope you have customers overseas cause no one here will buy one.
