Someone else in Montreal with an Awesomecat, welcome

Looks like your running under the bridge in 2 mountains.

Nice looking ride, eats up the water on holiday season.
Now, if someone can put in some water, we could play

Im in Lake St.louis & spend most of the week-ends in Ste Annes.

Give me a call if your in the area, 514-949-1540 & I will come out and play with you,

It would be cool to see 2 Awesomecats run together.

Where do you dock the boat?

Enjoy

Does the boat now have the same outdrives back when it was in race trim? If so, what is the outdrive equipment?

Are those the rear lifting rings on the outdrives shown in the pic? It looks like this hull was set-up for being crane lifted.

I cant say what drives it has now but yes i made those mounts so it could be craned out and the propshafts are 1.750 above bottom and we took the hook out of the last running surface all the 30 footers had that hook in them when they left the factory .
That was the 2 changes that brought that boat to life as far as speed it also made it have a bad calm water hop below 80 mph.

What drives and gear ratio did it have previously?

Hook in the hull. Does not surprise me.
Can you say------mold maintenance? Thanks for the info.

1.36 standard bravos with good shafts .
With the higher x it was hard on the drives they needed maitance after every race.

If they would have taken the hook out of the factory pleasure boats and raised the x a little higher the boats would have picked up a fair amount.

1.36 gear 34 merc cleaver 5250 rpm on the limiter 109 mph hard as hell to get on plane .

7250 lbs after race min weight we could be the boat was right on the money for weight .
