here's a few sneak peek pics of new paint job!this guy is awesome,bad part is i've known him for 25 years and forgot about him or i could've saved a ton a money and 3 lost years by using the other untalented scam artist! his name is joe and has a true artists touch,its amazing watching him work,and man is he fast.

I like those seats. Nice job. And that paint looks like it is going to be outstanding. I'll have to watch for your boat this summer. I would guess you run Lake St Clair?

I have a 34 Phantom that was JKK's before he bought a 38 Awesome. As far as I know it's the only Phantom in Michigan and for sure the only 34 phantom on Lk St Clair. I will try to post a pic when I get home.

Gary, I like that cockpit treatment. Different for sure. Going to really look sweet once the dash and interior are installed.

Picture your cockpit floor with a nice custom one-piece silver gray carpet with the Awesome logo in it.

Gary, Dave is going to make a pattern of the floor. The carpet will have an Awesome logo embroded. Did you move rearward the rear seat housing? Just thinking about your flooring needs. Were you thinking on carpet or rubber flooring?

Let me check with my carpet vendor on the logo. I doubt that they have the AWESOME logo on file, but I will see if they can do one. The other problem is Garry, and you used different logo font designs.

Daves right! I went awol on my logo. But im going with carpet and yes i moved rear seat back a few feet.

THANKS GUYS! boyne is on my list of stops! finally after 5 years of building this thing. and as for paint guy i cannot recommend him or anyone else thats worked on my boat! thats been a nightmare to say the least! i wish i could but he has issues to work out before i'll give out his name,sorry but don't want anyone going through all the b.s. i went through. i reccomend glass dave or mitcher t.

Did you paint Gelcoat or basecoat, clearcoat?

I had mine done in Gelcoat & also had a nightmare with it.

All base paint and clear coat. And it only took 4 different shops to do it! ;)

Gary, Your interior is really coming together nicely. Very nice detail work. Gauges will really bring it all together.
Picked up my hull from Dave Sikorski last night. Flush deck hatch done. Now to Mitch for the deck to be re-shot. Looking more and more that we will both be in the water this year. Long overdue.

richard, glad to hear yours is moving along nicely also,finally anyway. come on spring! we should set up something for the boyne thunder run or the new one on saginaw bay?
