ya'll should use LED lights instead of neon.they are much brighter, and they don't draw any watts at all.i have about 15 -3 light clusters in my 38 and they rock...they are even water proof..

I have 12 LED's in the boat now. One in the bottom of every cup holder and in the engine compartment. They are AWESOME!

But the Neon's are the ones that wire into the stereo and dance with the music. They are computer controlled with 1000 colors and are simply awesome to watch!

Last weekend on the flat waters of the Tennessee River with full load of fuel, four people and at least 500 lbs of gear I saw 72 on the GPS.

Hope to run it lighter, in the cooler weather this weekend and see where it is at.

Tyler Crockett did the ECU's a couple of weeks ago and it really woke them up.

Jaay, I saw your boat without your hatch attached coming back but I didn't see your run, I thought to myself...self..... that must be a Baja thing... . You really need to post that video for all to see and learn and what was your final speed.
thanks

Well, I just finished my second rebuild of the season...that's enough for now. When I get motivated I'll start thinking of redoing my hatch too. It kind of bends to the starboard side since the actuator is on the port side. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it?

Short of going to the side mount hatch actuators, there is not much you can do to eliminate the Baja lean on the hatch. I had a 226es that did the same thing. I found mine was full of water and weighed over 150 lbs! Needless to say I tore it apart and had an all fiberglass one made.
