My appologies to you and anyone else who thought of my replies to be knocking the Baja brand itself. They were not written in that manner. With that, I will exit this discussion.

Thank you for making that clear. Sorry I did read more into it. Please accept my appology for that.
Have a great day

I’ve read a lot on boat blistering and it seems to be a really complicated phenomenon. Scientist know how blisters form but they disagree on the catalyst (why one boat will blister and another will not). If your boat possesses the catalyst, there’s little you can do to prevent blisters other than apply bottom paint. Scientists also agree that once a boat develops blisters, it’s toast. Repairs will only be superficial. Repairs will not get rid of the catalyst.
Blisters were always my biggest fear during my time as a boat owner. Luckily, I never had issues. My dad’s little putt-putt Renken has sat in the water continuously every May to October since 1985 and it has zero blisters.

My 04 stays in the lake all summer long and it has started to blister , it will be stripped and redone this winter . If it happens again next summer they can fix it again next winter , and so on and so on . Way to much of an inconvenience to pull the boat out all the time when you live on it and boat in the same lake every weekend

In the long run it would be much cheaper and easier.
