Not yet. I sent my carbs to mesa balancing to rework. Im having the a/c pickup removed, and bungs installed the the risers to check a/f ratios. should have it wrapped up in the next 2 weeks, then ill try all the props and get with throttle up to do the final dial in.

I just heard from laz, he said my carbs were jacked up. the metering block was plugged on one, someone switched the powervalves from the stock 4.5's and put in 6.5's. He thinks ill get anywhere from 200-400 rpms when i get them back. Im hoping to try it next weekend and i should have the a/c pickup off by then.

weird. he said hes tried every setup on stock hp500 carbs and stock 4.5's were the best. now im confused.

I Am Not Saying 4.5 Is Not Good I Just Said That The
Stock From Merc Is 6.5 I Use A 4.5 .

boat is at the fiberglass guy today getting the a/c pickup removed.

dock did you use the same fitting on the back or get a new pickup?
