The stock CMI headers that came on the 500EFI with straight CMI 4-1/2 inch tail pipes (dry) dumping at the end. They extend out about five inches beyond the transom.

I was told by several, including the tech at Crane that reversion would not be an issue.

Ahh, I have the crappy gils then. I didnt want to spend the coin on exhaust.

Laz Mesa just called, carbs are on the way back. He said he cleaned up the idle circuit and did something with the powervalve circuit. over my head.

You could just add dry tails to your Gils!! That would probably end the reversion issue!!

Yeah, I really hate those "Electronic" Carburetors!!

Just ordered the HVH 1" supersuckers, be here by friday

I also ordered a can of mercury blue spray paint to touch the carbs up, $25 freakin dollers for 1 can

Good Luck I Use The 2 Inch Spacer Picked Up Alittle
More On The Dyno With The 2 Vrs 1 But You Have To
Jet Up. What Is The Timing Set At?

34 degrees.

what difference did you see? (2 vs 1)

Ill be testing this weekend. Got a set of 26's and 28's, also going to try hydromotive 26's and since i have the lower "x" im going to try 27 and 29 mirages.
damn thats a bunch of prop changes. Ill report the news. I should figure out what works best and get a set of props going.
