Love my boat and I think they have the most bang for your buck. Largest cockpit and nice free board for its size.Yes unless I hit lotto I would buy another.

I've owned 3 and would buy another in a heartbeat.

No matter what people say look at the overall styling of the Baja, and you will not find a brand that is laid out any better.

I have some friends that went to custom boats and it takes them months to get their boats, and when they get them they are not complete.

We had the opportunity to drive Poker Face at Jacksonville in June, and was very impressed with the new technology they are putting into their boats. 89 mph out of a true v boat with 525’s is very acceptable if you ask me.

The 26 will have the same features as the 30 and 35 have, so you should be in great shape with the 26. Also the true v will give you the stability you are looking for.

Had one, loved it and would buy another without question. When we bought the Sunsation I just wanted something different since we already had a Baja...

I owned a 97 24' Outlaw and boated the sh!t out of it for 8 years in the Pacific Ocean and on Lakes. Loved it. Minor issues like the bolts holding the seats down came out and the engine hatch had wood in it that would rot from getting wet. But I dealt with the issues. The guy I sold it too dumped some time and money in it and it looks brand new!

I always wanted a Cig so that's what we bought. But I would not have a problem at all buying another Baja. Especially a 36 or 40 Outlaw! Love those.

I saw Poker Face a few weeks ago and had the grand tour given to me by Jason Billmeyer he has the lucky job of driving the International around. He explained the new technology and HE is the person who opened my eyes to Baja. I always heard the bashing and just figured they were junk. The only problem with the '07 30 OL I rode on was that a few hours into it's first run a loose connection on the trim pump let loose and dumped all the oil.

Thanks everyone for the input.

On the "Sunsation is the greatest ..." thread you wrote that you were not in love with some of Sunsation's building materials. I am also looking at the 288, I have never heard anything about construction issues. What about Sunsations construction do you think is sub-par? In your opinion which do you think is better constructed?

I would buy another for sure!! I think Baja build's a great boat!!!! I love the V-bottom with no steps as the ride and handling are superior to the stepped bottom boats.
I have a 2004 25 Outlaw and really think it is a great boat that handles the rough stuff surprisingly well for a 25 foot boat. I LOVE it!!!

Three and counting.

No major issues, more that are Mercury problems then Baja problems.

From the factory to the dealers I have received good service.

Pros:

Largest number of models in industry
Great Styling
Great Graphics & Colors
Custom Shop
Largest Dealer Network
Quick Deliveries on special order boats
Division of Brunswick - Industry Marine LEADER
Baja Magazine - Show casing Owners & New Models
Baja Poker Run Tour
More R & D spent then most other builders combined
New Models EVERY year
Great value for the dollar
Safe boats for the family
Great ride and handling
Good resale, especially on the single engine models
Factory support and presense at Boat Shows

Cons:

Perception by many that because it is a "Production Boat" that the quality is not equal to other more expensive brands.

Not as fast as stepped hull models

Rigging not as fancy as more expensive brands

My 36 as of last month just completed 22 poker runs!

We have won best hand in two, second best in one, and best interior twice!

I have just as much fun in my less then $200K 36 Outlaw as I would in a $400K Cig or Outerlimits.

It's all about getting on the water with what you have and enjoying boating.
