Would you buy another Baja?

If you had or currently own a Baja would you buy another one?
I am trying to gather as much info on 25 to 28 footers from various manufactures as possible to make an educated decision. In particular the '07 26 Outlaw. I got a ride this weekend on an '07 30 OL and it was awesome. I was impressed with the handling and performance. I have two younger (6&12) boys and I don't need anything too radical. I am looking for a nice boat which my family will be safe and comfortable on while not sacrificing speed. The 26 seems to fit my budget and criteria.
Every brand has it's "haters" out there but sometimes it seems Baja is ragged on for quality issues. I looked into construction and found out they use Kevlar in high stress points as well as vacuum bagging and using plexus to adhere the liner. The 30 Ol I was on didn't rattle once in 2-3 footers and felt very stable. I know the 26 is smaller and will not handle as well but I expected some rattles along the way. The only thing that I saw was the flip down flat screen tv popped down, no big deal.
Sorry for rambling.
What are your thoughts?

i have a 02 25 outlaw with a 496 ho. love the boat. the only problem with the boat was my cabin door, the screws ripped out of the side. i will be in the market for another boat in a few years and i have been trying to find what i want. i dont know if i want another baja just because i already have one. but i think i would buy the 30. people rag on baja because they are all over the place. everyone has had one.everyone is loyal to what they own but you will find alot of loyal baja fans.

We love our Baja, it has been a very solid well thought out boat. The only problem we have had with the boat is a wiring issue in the harness on the 496, nothing you could blame on Baja.
You will hear quite a bit of "Baja Bashing" on this site and much more on another popular site. What you have to remember is that there is an inherent "mine is better than yours" mentality in performance boating. This is compounded by the fact that apparently money does not buy class. Some of the nicest people I have ever met at Poker Runs were Baja owners. That is not to say I have never met nice folks with other brands, but most tend to look down there nose at us because of the particular brand of boat we purchased. Many have never set foot in a Baja, let alone driven one, and only have their opinion based on "my brother's second cousin's wife's dad had one 15 years ago and it was a piece of junk". A guy in a Formula made a comment about mine last year, when I asked him if he had ever been in one, he answered no. I think that would sum up most of the bashing. Baja makes a great boat, well put together, and offer a lot of bang for the buck. I am not going to compare mine to a Cigarette or Outer Limits, but compared to other boats in it's class, I would not say it is better or worse. When I hear the bashing I just smile and wave, and be as nice as possible. I guess it is simply because, I know I am a nice guy, pretty laid back, always have a boat load of honeys, and don't have to feel like I need to belittle people in order to make myself feel better.
As far as your question, would I buy another one? Absolutely, when the time comes and there is a model that fits my needs, I would happily buy another Baja. The next boat we purchase may be a center console such as Concept or Renegade though. We need a bit more utility and room.
