:D That boat looks sweet. I hope it makes it to Desert Storm. I have yet to see a Baja PR boat make it out west. At least not at a large event. Shoot I was the only BAJA at the S.C.O.P.E. poker run in Long Beach. We need to be representing!!!! Doc, see if you can make it happen.

Hi! The plan is to take it to Desert Storm. Last years boats haven't been ready in time. Two years ago we did a west coast swing but last year we couldn't find enough events clustered together so we could justify going out that far.

We should be releasing the schedule very soon.

Is there any chance of it being at the Lake Norman fun run? My wife and kids are thinking about coming down that weekend and maybe be in the fun run. Never ran with a group of boats like that before. My wife might have to start out driving until everyone passes us just so I can watch all the boats.

Have they finalized the date for the PRA event @ Lake Norman yet?

From what I have been told - the one from poker runs of america is cancelled and the one from carolina powerboats is still on.

I am sure Dock will have better intel then I.

I have a buddy that is good friends with Bill Taylor of PRA and I don't think you are going to see them on Lake Norman. I believe that they have determined it is not a good venue for their caliper of event. At least that is the impression I have at this point. I would have to agree because there is not a good place on the lake to host an event and the lake gets small when you add 50 + boats at high speed. The lack of a hotel on the water is a problem also in my opinion.

As for the Carolina Powerboat club they have really become a small click and I am not in that click so I cannot speak for them. We did their run last year and it was a nice event.

Testing at Site "X" on Split Decision is going very well from what I understand and we should know tomorrow what speeds she is hitting.

I know what they were at today and they are getting very close to what we all expect. I do not want to post until they get her fully dialed in and we know for sure.

He would like this battle to go away because it has brought his stupidy to the fore front once again. But sadley he is not man enough to discuss it in person, on the phone or even by email like a man.

He started it by publicly calling me a name and then bashing me over something I did over a year ago. Then when I replied to his post on another site he lowered himself once again by sending a really nasty email to me. When I tried to reply I found that I could not because he had blocked my email address. This is his typical MO that he has used for a long while to hide behind a computer and censor all posts and not allow anyone to reply. I thought he was a grown man but he must still be two years old.

I invited him to sit down with me in person at the Miami boat show but I made an assumption that as a Baja website owner that he would actually be at the boat show. Had I known that he could not afford the $200 plane ticket I would have given him the money to fly down. He is "Mr. Baja" but does not even come to the most important show of the year. Go Figure.
I guess his site must not be doing very well because other site owners were present at this show and had booths and promotions at several other shows also.

I tried to support his site more then once, paid my subscription fees, bought t-shirts and decals and even donated additional funds when he had that option. He repayed me and many others by making it impossible to post without getting the kindergarden treatment. You are supposed to be a puppet and not post anything without his approval.

He thinks he has some type of exclusive? NOT

There are those of us that actually get around and do it and there are the Blakes that just talk about it and hide behind a computer screen.

Another site is producing a magazine and I have written an article that he has not even read but he finds it necesary to bash the effort. He has been in business seven years and has not done squat except for running off paying members.

Yes I have bad blood for him and he has earned it 100%.

I'm glad OSO is here and it will most likely always be the premium boating site and I'm glad Baja is moving forward and giving us all great products like Split Decision and the poker run tour that we can be proud of.

I have not heard the new name yet but I hope it is more clever then "Meatball" this time.

I hate we missed you in Miami also. With my engine projects I do not feel that we will be ready for a trip that soon. Sorry that I have to pass but I promise we are looking forward to doing it and hope to catch you the next time once we have everything dialed in and know we can depend on it.

I'm just not going to allow someone to blast me online like he did. It was totally uncalled for and we would not be dicussing it if he had simply minded his own business. But when a guy does what he did and then has the nerve to block your email so you cannot reply to him then unfornunately it ends of being public and he is the one that is looking like a fool "AGAIN".

3 sides to every story....Docs perception, Teambaja marines perception and what really happened. I don't know Doc personally or whoever team Baja marine is but I do know that Doc offers detailed info routinely on Baja products and is a huge fan of the line. He always represents himself in a polite respectful manner and I was quite frankly surprised at the aggravation that was apparent in his last few posts. But I can also tell you this. Team baja marines post is very “us” (OSO) against him (team baja marine)….”our beloved Doc” WTF?? :confused::rolleyes:

Dude, you did yourself no justice with your rebuttal. Class and humbleness always win and is something your post appears to lack.
