He called me and went on speaker phone and everyone here in the office heard him start it back up and do another 708 HP pull. It sounded strong.

I will know Monday when we get back what they will actually do. We are expecting 900+ HP and will set them up at 800 to run all the time.

Hopefully I will be heading down there week after next to bring them both back home.

I'll keep you posted.
Great news Dock, sounds impressive. Whats the target date for getting the boat back in the water?

Read above I am NOT dropping it.

That is all the boost he ran it with yesterday and he made that suggestion which I fond interesting. Just not for me!

Why spend $30K an engine and then try to save 20 cents a gallon on fuel. Only Obama would do that.

Maybe July 4th.

It has been a slow project.

If you never want my delays stay away, FAR AWAY from Don Boca at Triad NON-Performance Marine.

Congrats Dock, those are going to be very sweet. Hope to hear them run sometime this summer!

I had the pleasure of going for a ride in a 36 nortech cat with 950's last month. The motors were stunning.
I'm sure your's will sound equally as impressive.

Are you going with larger exhaust tips to really let them roar?

There is a BIG difference between "need" & "want". I want new motors because these don't have enough power.

Engine #1 should be finished tomorrow.

Mark called about 5 PM to tell me all is going very well and it is pulling 815 HP at 5300 RPM with 7 PSI of boost.

Remember that these are FULLY dressed engines with ALL accessories including CMI headers with water set up exactly the way they will be in the boat.
