Alright forget the BS I was thowing out there earlier. I made the call to the national weather service and they provided me with the following answer. When they report 4' waves they ARE talking about the wave from trough to crest. So I dont remember who made the statement that its from the normal lake level to the crest. That statement is incorrect. When jason is saying his boat is about 4ft out of the water and water is coming over the top of the bow so he estimates 4 ft waves....he is correct. Come on people lets get your nuatical sh.t straight:party-smiley-004:
