Dock,
This is actually a photo of Doug working the throttle as Adam makes adjustments on the engine linkage. We had to move the shifter pin location to the center position from the bottom hole, set the stops correctly, and equal the tension on both handles.
You are correct that Lane, and myself will be addressing the side pad designs tomorrow, after we set the motorlid in place.

Hmm my BAD oops. Tell Doug I did not mean to insult him!:ernaehrung004:

Funny but that is what Mark Boos called me about, he has a buyer for them! The wife says if I sell them to move forward on the paint job.

Received this email from Dave last night. I have to say the communication has been amazing. They have helped me to feel like I was right there with daily updates and pictures.

Mark,

Look how we spaced the steering bottle forward so that the hose routing was better on the starboard engine. We thought it looked great.

Well there is always a set back but nothing major.

Mike McLeod had forgot that they had to trim the seat base on his buddies 36. Well we had Kevin Brown to do all the repairs and he had the base looking fantastic but Dave had to do a little trimming on it yesterday so the new rear bolster will fit.

This may set us back one week on the finished product depending on how busy Kevin is and how soon he can get the base finished out.

On one ever said it would be easy or cheap!

Nice job Dave you are handy with that saw brother.

The guys did a wonderful job of mounting the trim pumps up on the side but it is a very tight fit at the headers.

Here is one of the LED controllers.

Adam has tricked my ride with LED's. This controller hooks to the stereo system and they control four led light bars that dance with the music and have 10,000 colors. There are two in the engine compartment and two in the cockpit along with many other single led lights.

He has blue LED's mounted underneath the sun pad shooting down on the engines and white LED's shooting down on the blue items like the sea strainers.

Everything is connected to a common switch on the dash panel.

You can also see where the main water dump from the incooler exits.

Fantastic project!!. Looks great. Cant wait to hear how it runs.

Love the attention to detail.
I have met Adam, Dave and Greg at the Ft Myers dealer meeting. They were great group of guys. I was there nosing around and all was good with them. I believe Adam gave me the ride in the Stock 35OL when I was lookign to buy.

Thanks buddy.

The ones I purchased came from the two following sources.

I'm not sure where Adam buys his at.

Wow Mark you sir, have got my attention! What a great thing to do to an already benchmark custom Outlaw. I love it, and cannot get enough of it!!!

VtSteve 11-22-2008 03:58 PM

So this is the team that will be redoing all of the new boats? Should they wait for them to come off the line, or just start working before the boatmakers screw them up?

How about this. Have that team take a fresh boat, without rigging and interior, and just do the custom orders. Does any boatmaker do that kind of work from the factory?

Dave, Lane, Adam, Doug and Kevin were all former employees of Baja in Bucyrus. When Brunswick closed up shop and they lost their jobs they went in the boat repair business.

No reason to be jealous. I could be jealous of 1000 boats just by looking though the classifieds. Just doing what we can with what we have.

Thanks and stay tuned!

Mr. Gadgets built a couple of his XR's for me. I hope by coming on plan slow, not hammering it hard and keeping the props in the water I can make them live until I see what Konrad comes out with next year. I hear they are working on a Bravo replacement and I have also been looking at the IMCo SCX.

Perlmudder 11-23-2008 10:12 PM

looks killer! any speed guesstimates?

HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM

Deer Hunting Season....

I receved the following communications from Dave today:

Mark,

Kevin did not get us the rear bench today, but I know his is close to completion with it. I do have the rib pads figured out, except the stripes to finish. I do have one other issue that I need to let you know.
Lane, and I are deer hunters and the season in Ohio starts on Monday Dec. 1st......I plan to only hunt the first 2 or 3 days unless I get one the first day? Adam, and Doug are not hunters and can complete everything but the side pads, so we will try to concentrate on them this week.

Dave

Well the only problem I have with it is that I cannot make it up there to hunt with these guys. I plan to put that on my list next year. These guys have been busting it pretty hard for me and sure deserve a break. Good luck with the hunting and I look forward to see some racks next trip.

Got any snow up there yet?

Here are some pictures of the templates they used to fabricate the interior side panels from.

Please note the Baja they just took in needing their special touch.

Keep the boats heading their way guys they will have a lot of space when my boat is gone in a week or so.

Yeah, around here almost everything slows down for hunting season.

These guys have been working hard on your boat, I've seen a lot of progress on it over the past few weeks. It's looking great.

No complaints here! They have exceeded every expectation I have had.

We live in the country and have a couple of neighbors that hunt on the property behind us. I was woke up this morning to the sound of a riffle. We have two employees that would quit if I did not let them off to deer hunt.

If you guys are like us down here we really need to thin the herd. There are too many deer hitting too many cars. We had to put a fence up to keep them out of our garden this last summer.

It's all good.

Should get some snow tonight, but it sounds like it will melt during the daytime all this week? Did I mention that all your gauges now light-up in Red....it looks much better, and the dimmer works great also.

Any relation to the Leonhardt's that have all the farmland around there? I'm guessing yes. From what I saw last year I can tell you right where to go to fill the tags and then be able to get back to work on Dock's boat!
