This topic is getting me more interested. Regarding BBlades, i want to know what size your are using with what power. I have pair of built Paul Pfaff 850's??

I would say you are pretty close to me and would need 32 pitch bravo 1 four blades.

Stay away from 34 pitch! VERY POOR CASTING

The more blades you have the harder it is on your outdrives so that keeps me away from 5 blades.

You can twist up a 32 if needed to a 33 pretty easy.

Pick up a phone and call Brett and discuss it with him. He is a wealth of information with his background at Mercury Racing. It is always best to have a baseline to work off of.

I just received a pair of laed 32's I hope to run the weekend.
With stock out of the box props I ran 88.1 GPS on flat water with full load of fuel at 5500 RPM. We expect and hope to see some where between 91 to 93 MPH with the new props. Also they are labbed for around 5700 RPM.

Running Bravo XR drives custom built by DPM "Dick's Performance Marine". He is on the board as "Mr. Gadgets". They are about as good as it gets but no XR is rated at the horsepower you will e putting through them.

It will be very interesting to see what you get speed wise once you get her dialed in. Bobby Todd "Crayola Craxy" has a newer 33 with a high "X" and the hull was custom build with a pad and blue printed. With 800 HP per side he is right at the century mark when conditions are right. He also has some very custom $$$$$$$ props.

I have read in other posts and sites that, the hull on the baja's are very hard to get to the three digit numbers and you need at lest 950's on each side? Is this true? The motors that are going in my boat were on a 35 Fountain and it did 137 mph, no extention boxes or X dimention setup??
