No more bow lift than the HO's. That seems like an issue with the 35 hull. I run the boat trimmed to 6.5 on my indicators. That seems to be the max. I did run it at home last weekend in the river with the stock 28's and had to 83 (with the current) with throttle left over. I would love to run my labbed 30's there but too much of a chance to screw one up.

Haha I have a set of labbed 28's I am afraid to run. Ran them once. Dont want to ding those pretty props. Actually did not see a speed gain in mine. Just some rpms. But that was one day out. Need to do some back to back testing. I still get my regular 28p bravos up very close to 5k rpm. I trim way up also. Every baja I have owned needs lots of trim for max speed. My 29ol I used to trim to about 7-8 on the mech guages. My 35 as well. Just when trying to sqeak every last mph out of it.

Redbud- So are you happy with you decision? Low to mid 80's seems to be the tkt for a standard(non-poker edition) 35OL and 525's I would be hunting for 85 :drink:

Bring it the south FL in salt and current. We'll get there :ernaehrung004:

I run the labbed props at the lake. It doesn't bother me there. As for as my desision goes, I'm pretty happy. I really think I'm at the limit with this setup. But that's OK. The 525's are just cool to have. Loud, fast, and they look great. I think I'm stuck with this baot for a good while after spending this much money. So maybe down the road some blowers.

I believe that is very true.

One other think is I never broke anything but upper gears "XZ" spiral cut on my XZ's. I have a friend running blower motors in a 36 with standard bravo's and he broke a vertical shaft, lower gear set or a case EVERY season. He finally got tired of it and sold the boat.

I have been reading the thread. I have a 33 outlaw and use to have a nice pair of 525SC's and blow the XR Drives after several hard runs. Just purchased a brand new set of drives from Max Machine Worx, and i drove out there to pick it and when saw the difference, boy i should have invested in them the first time. Check them out, great people and they are also coming out with a tranny as well which will work with Bravo drives.

Crossing my fingure to have the boat done by next three weeks. Waiting for the motors. Pair of 950's

Has anyone heard about the Bravo I 4-blade lab finish for Baja directly??? I hear they are great.

Are you talking about a "Baja cup"? If that's what you mean, yes that's what I run. They were done by Bblades.

Is it from Bblades or direct from Mercury. Person from Teague told me it's of their new lab finish for the Baja's. I might be wrong.
