Neb, Below is an e-mail that I just sent to a guy that is looking to purchase my 302 and only has a 35' building. Keep in mind that my boat is on an Eagle trailer, thus a different trailer manufacturer may be slightly longer or shorter. Also, my 302 has the bolted on extended swim platform, some older models don't have this.

The boat on the trailer is 34.5 feet long and that does include the tongue. The boat itself with the swim platform is exactly 31 feet 11.5 inches, so basically a 32' boat.....most people think 302's are just a 30' boat.

Brett, my 29 is 36' on the trailer from the tip of the tounge to the tip of the cavitation plate on the drive.
Tell your friend/customer that a 45' depth is minimum. A guy will want to walk around his stuff.
Personally, I'd build it long enough to park truck & trailer together & wide enough to have a stairway platform on one side of the boat.
