Well to get this thread back on track. Upon checking my bottom I've found a hook all the way down on the back by the transom roughly 1/8-1/4" then about 6' up there's a rocker about 1/2" the bunks are getting in my way due to I can't get it off the trailer, but I'm guessing this is a "BIG" reason I'm getting a porpoise at speed. As I've got so much going on this fall and winter with other projects I'm looking at spring to get this taken care of. I just can't believe a boat would get shipped out like that from the factory. No wonder I hear so many stories of boats picking up 5mph from "blueprinting" the bottom. I understand Baja made these boats so basically everyone could drive them, but come on....Deep X dimensions and irregular bottoms I'd think it would be safer to have a boat that didn't porpoise at 70mph than one that went 75mph. JMO though.

Well I'm bring this back up as I'm taking my boat down to LakeAway Fiberglass in the next couple weeks to have some glass repairs done and he's going to jack my boat up off the trailer and inspect the bottom to see what is causing the porpoise and possible other issues scrubbing speed. I'll update after it goes there.
