Irish,

Good luck. All 302s I've been in porpoised. Mostly at a lower RPM cruising speed. Mine would flatten out at 3800+

Mine is definately different than most 302's it used to porpoise at about 50mph now it does it around 35-40. Extension boxes and shorties along with added HP definately changed the way it handles and rides. Upon talking with Kevin at LakeAway which he used to work at Baja seems to think it's a normal problem with Baja's that theres a rocker in the hull. I'll find out if he can't find anything then I'll just drive it above 50mph all the time.

Well he definately found something, so we'll see how it handles now.

We have been waiting patiently since 2009 to hear the outcome.

I didn't realize how old this thread was. I've done alot of changes since I started this. I definately had bottom issues. It's not the ones outside the strakes infront of the tabs. It's a hook on the running surface.

Kevin assured me this would improve handling and eliminate the porpoise.

I think Indy whsl just had the hook taken out of his 29 outlaw, not sure if it was everything he thought it would be. He didn't seem to excited about it.
