Power hatch ram really noisy

Don't know about the hydraulic ones, but I put the relays in my hatch circuit year before last, and it goes up so fast it's unbelievable.

I have a 2002 Sundancer 320. Opening the hatch sounds like grinding rocks. Where did you purchase it? How much do they cost? Are they difficult to replace? I can do it myself?????

I have the same issue with my 2007 35 Outlaw, and have all the same questions. If going from electric to hydraulic, does that require some new lines, new this, new that, etc I assume?
