Bailey, Was the H2X big enough to do some pokerruns in her? I will be boating on ky lake for the most part, I think i could do it..but was unsure about other runs. Seems like you guys all have much bigger boats.

If it were me I would look for a 25 Outlaw instead of the H2X if you are looking to get into the poker runs. The difference in ride in the rough is night and day. My 25 was plenty of boat for the runs I did. Bigger is always better but the 25 is a great all around boat.

To be honest, I won't do many runs. I would just like to have that option from time to time. I would love to own a 25 OL, they are just really out of my budget range for a new to me boat. Unless I buy something like a 1997 or 1998 and I don't want to do that. I am surprised at the ride difference with the H2X being about 24' and the 25' outlaw.

H2X is a fun boat, but Id take an older 25 Outlaw over a newer H2X any day of the week just for the fact the Outlaw has drop down bolsters.

I didn't even realize the h2x didn't have them... dang, i don't like that.

I wonder if i could add them later. hmmmmm

I just really wanting to stay below 25K and can't get a good or even simi ok outlaw for that.

oh no my friend, there are definately some clean ones out there in great shape - we just havent decided if we want to sell them.

PM sent, let me know if you interested in a clean 24OL w/ a stock 502mag for that money, may be time to upgrade soon.

It is more like a 23' compared to a 25 foot. Remember that the H2X includes the swim platform in the length and the Outlaw does not. Plus the difference in deadrise and weight also will make a big difference in ride between these two boats. In boats a foot is like a mile. I went from a 245 to my last 25 Outlaw and could not believe the difference in ride and handling in the rough.

Even on a regular busy weekend I was glad I had the 25 over the shorter boat.

You guys talked me into it. I am now looking at 25' OL's. Looking for around 2000 and 2001 for 25K. If you know of any, let me know.

I have found a few, but one has 430 hours and one has 560 hours. Might be ok though if the compression checks out.

If the engine is atock, the hours would not really matter. There are alot of boats available out there just have to keep looking. I was in the same situation as you last year at this time. I found my 2004 at a great price and only 50 hours.
