nice write up and nice boat!!
my old man has the same boat, his came with a 23p 3 blade and it sucked. i put my old 22p 4 blade on it and it gained 2-3 mph but hits the rev limiter, im going to try my labbed 24 p on it and i bet she gets another 1-2 mph with being able to trim it.
picked up about 3-4 mph at 3600 rpm cruz speed!!!! that boat with a pad like it has needs a 4 blade.

Thanks guys. I am making plans to order the IMCO SC. It’s a little scary when your the first to try a new setup on a 26. Not sure if I need the -3 or the -2. I plan to make more precise measurements on the X dimension tonight.

If I remember right there are some prop diameter limitations with the -3 lower.

I'm guessing you're going to wind up somewhere around 4", but that's just a guess based on what others have had success with. Saw your post in the drive section....you'll get some good info there.
By the time you're done you'll be able to cross lake arrowhead in about 5 seconds flat.

I just re-measured my X dimension at 7.25". I guess maybe this boat was built a little different since it was probably one of the last 26 OL's out of Ohio?

Runs pretty good for a big single with limited power. I had 6 adults on board last week with a cruise prop (25p M+) turning 4500rpm and still hit 61mph. Planing was slooooooow....but am surprised it even planed in that configuration. 160 hours on the boat now and I'm still happy, but I don't have the "modify for speed" gene.
