Default 272 shift cable

Put a kink in the housing changing the motor, now its a little stiff,,,,, has anyone changed theres yet,,, is it just the "33-C" I keep hearing about?

Are you talking about the short black one that goes to the outdrive? If so it isn't that fun to replace. pul the drive and pull out the complete old cable but make sure you tie a wire to the engine end so that you can pull in the new one. also when the new one is in make sure that it doesn't rub on the drive coupling on the back of the motor.

NO,,, I got real lucky,,, it's the one from the shifter to the motor. I have heard of people paying almost $100 for one, I found a generic ( 33-C ) on www.rodnreel.com/dmarine/ for under $20,,, just a little skeptical.
