Need some help... First boat!

It does help with the back seat passangers some, but they still get alot of wind there. The extra room in the 302 is very nice though.

I will look on the net for a Boss 302 tonight... I am drawn to the outlaw... im guessing in the 302 you would want twin Mag HO's???

ok another question... from the wife.. the big diff i see in the cuddy from the 29ol the the boss 302 is that the boss has a small kitchen set up... fridge etc... So my question is.. if weekending on the boat, do you really use it, or does a cooler do the job...

Just depends I guess. If it's a working fridge I would use it. I think most people will admit that the cuddy is a catch all for gear, and a bed if you over night.

From: Denmark and hopefully some place nice
As a boat for the whole family, the windshield of the 302 is a very nice addition for sure. Both the 496MAG and 496MAG HO are nice boats. Yes, the HO will of course be the faster, but the non HO is not a bad deal either. It'll run high 60s, it's good especially for a first boat. I do personally prefer the HOs. we have them in the cruiser, runs nice, sounds nice and are very easy in terms of maitenace if you leave them alone. Don't worry about upgrades, the internals are not build for this. The day you feel like going faster, get a faster boat.

I have seen pics of this boat and it is real nice. Also, my 302 has the low white windscreen and no kitchen down below. Longer horeshoe couch. I was set on a 29 outlaw until I saw the 302 and never looked at another 29 after that. Personally, I do not like the winshield on the 302s. My 25 Outlaw also didn't have a wind in the face issue unless I got caught in the rain and then it was a real big issue.
