What hull is a 236

Delta 11,500 would buy that 27ft that nightlife showed you what would it hurt to offer him that the most he is going to do is say no when i bought my 272 a few years ago i was being a smat azz and offered 10k less than asking price and they took it and we are only talking a 29k asking price
Not that I am saying you have to go after that one. I know it's a long way from you, but if you needed it's not that far for me to go check it out for you. But really I was just saying there are plenty of boats that you could go after in that price range. 250, 260, 265, 270, 272 all can be had around that price.
If they are asking 15k in this market I would not be affraid to offer 12. Heck I was asking 22 for mine and some guy offered 15, and I think he really thought I would take it.

Deltaforce,I sent you a pm with this as well but ill post it here too. I am always looking at boats and this one might fit what you're looking for if you haven't see it already. It fits your price range and has a trailer, looks like its in great shape with some recent maintenance, some upgrades and not some gaudy colors that they've had in the past. I don't know the boat personally but here ya go! Hope it helps.

Sorry didn't realize that you were looking for a closed bow preferably. In that case I know this guy is asking 16.5 for this boat but he has had it for sale for almost 8 months. It's winter time cash might talk. He isn't far from me and if you're serious I can look at it for you or with you. I have a very similar boat so am pretty familiar with them. Good luck either way.

Called about that Outlaw before, just bought a house and needs to sell it, claims it runs an honest 70 MPH, didn't make him an offer, wife thought the cockpit looked as small as the 22 Force I used to have and he is higher by a decent amount than I want to spend altough if I waived 13K real cash might make him waiver, gonna look some more, thanks for the input.

I'm not sure of the forces cockpit but I'm sure XT could chime in on that. I will say my 87 which has the goofy wrap around pieces which take up some room fits 4 full size adults with ease, 5 is even comfortable. So I'm not sure how many you're looking to boat with. As far as his claims of 70 with either a 330 or even a 365 is far fetched atleast in my experiences. I have a worked prop on mine and with the 330 I was right at 59 and with the 365 I got 63-64. Still a far fetch from 70. Maybe I wasn't running it as loose as possible but I didn't see it getting much more with what I had. Just some of my experiences, everyone has them. The boat looks extremely clean though and I am gonna bet much like everything in this world right now cash talks. if you went there with 13 you'd be taking it home if you liked it.

I will have my money by next weekend, may go take a look with the cash in hand, plus he's not that far from where the Baja 236 is. Going to see the Excalibur 23 tomorrow, have a noon appt, he is asking $14,900, it's on Yachtworld.com. Not sure they have a very deep hull, looked at a Rinker Captiva 232 last week with a 7.4 and it was a shallow boat, looked like river only.

I would see an Excalibur 23 out at hart miller island this last summer, we never tied up but we talked alittle andI have seen it up close. Looked like the hull had a deep V but didn't have as much freeboard. He said it had a 454 mag in it and it ran upper 60s. It had the moulded swim platform on his. Is the 236 you are looking at have the teal/pink interior? Good luck in your search. One last thing I will say is having the stand up bolsters vs sit down seats is night and day esp if it gets alittle rough. I love having the support to lean against. That's a must for me ever since my first bowrider without them. If I can help you in any way just let me know!

Looked at the Excalibur 23, looks much smaller that the Baja 236, I think they count the molded swim platform as part of the 23, also less freeboard as you say Mickey. The 236 Baja is teal and purple with a orange accent accent on the interior. Excalibur was as clean as new, nice float on alum trailer, he has title to both trailer and boat, said best he would do was $14K, didn't counter offer as it looks to be a little small if the wind blows up. Reminded me of the size of my buddys Pachanga 22. The trailer with the Baja is a roller trailer but has no title just a bill of sale, owner said he bought it that way. Leaning toward the Baja as it's a good bit less and I could have the sunpad recovered and still be ahead on funds.
