I have an '87 265, twin 350 mags, with 20s.
The only gps number I have is from two years ago, on the wife's cell phone, which read 54.
That was with a full load of fuel and people.
Having said that, 20s are not the right prop for my boat, I should probably be 22 or 23. I can turn the engines at 5400, and the blocks are stamped 4200-4600.
Maybe some day, I'll spend the money and put new props on it. I'd like to see 4800 at wot.
But, I'll agree, I love the cockpit space...

So 350 mags (im guessing the 260 hp modles) with a total of 520 hp. So in comparison with me at 415 hp with 23, Im right on par. Ya you prop yours out right you could probably see 60-62. I also read that our hulls favor twin engine setup vs the single. Good info here.

My "finance officer" doesn't seem to think we need to spend the money on props. Plus, the kids are really into tubing, so the 20s may be the best choice for now.

Hit 57mph even at 4200 rpms i usually have a bit closer to 5000 rpms but my new throttle cable was out of adjustment and i couldn't get anymore out of the motor until i readjust it so i have a little bit more so im going to guess 60 62?

Do you have bottom paint on your boat? With the 350 mags I wold think that boat would run low to mid 60's....
