Thanks guys! Gotta put another set of gaskets that I missed somehow in the tail pipe install in, put the helm switch panel back in, put the hatch on and rams in and she's good to go. Well she's pretty dirty and unbuffed/waxed but that'll be next week. It's looking like tomorrow is going to be a beautiful day up here in WI so it's going to be the first time out with the fam.

Heres shot of the smartcraft on the Simrad. Totally customizable as far as what info you want to see.

Had the boat out on Winnebago on Sunday. Beautiful day and the boat ran great! Unable to do any WOT runs to get a clear answer on this labbed 30p bravo 1. For now it seems to work well enough, even with 25% slip and no trim response. Don't like the feeling of the boat riding on its face the whole time though. I've talked with Bblades and am going to head out to the lake by then sometime soon and test a handful of different props, 5 blades and their 4 speed 4 blade.

The only bug im still fighting is the trim tab communication to the Simrad. For some reason it seems the info is stopping at the engine. Talked to Mercury several times, Simrad, livorsi, whipple.... but if this is the biggest issue to work out I'm ok with that, for now.

Four horsemen poker run on lake winnebago this weekend! Looking forward to it. Should be beautiful weather.

5 blade or drive spacer might be in your future. Be careful at high speeds, i struggled when running a -2 shorty at 5.5 prop cl frm bottom of my 272, boat bow steered violently as it couldnt air bow out and carry ot, did a half spin at 95 mph and was legs in air holding onto steering wheel before i landed back in boat and saved it, sold shorty after that, smitty

Did you ever try a 4 blade with your setup where you had issues? 5 blades create more stearn lift. The single high x Nordic guys seem to do good wth the hydromotive p5-x.

I mainly tried 4 blades, when i tried a 5 blade slip dropped to 10% from 20 to 22% that it had w 4 blades, boat tq rolled hard w the 5 blade then after a little testing i sheared off a max worx torsional billet prop shaft so i never tried a 5 blade again.

Was there any type of black magic performed on your 272? Sounds like that thing was wicked

Simply a stupid amount of hp, last build made 1050 on pump premium and 1115 on a 80/20 mix, i ran the 93 octane pulley 95% of time. Installed a stellings box to raise prop and move back, boat porpoised, handled like crap snd went SLOWER. tried a -2 shorty, boat wouldnt carry bow and went slower. Heard lots of storys of moving drives up on Bajas and big speed increases, never worked for me. 7.5 prop c/l was by far fastest, best handling depth for my setup. I ran a best of 99 and change gps in full kill, never broke a 100. Would run 96 ish on good day w 1050 hp pulley.

My sunny had some good company at the docks for the Four Horsemen. It's one badass 25 outlaw for sure!
