The blue kevlar really jumps out at certain angles. Other angles it looks like regular CF, pretty cool.

Fun times at the four horsemen poker run this past weekend! Playing with props and plumbing. Getting her dialed in
Friday run with Wasted Income
First stretch of the run on Saturday. Found out that the three blade prop I was running = drinks fuel at an astronomical rate. Too much slip. Was a lot of fun reeling a lot of other boats in. But not fun having to fuel back up halfway through the run.... I’ve been surprised how well the motor did on fuel with the 5 blades I’ve ran, never really had to think about how much fuel I had as long as the tank was above half.

What props are working the best so far?
Its nice to see you go far outside the envelope. Reminds me of 10 years ago when a few guys were doing super chargers or bigger horsepower with extension boxes on 25 and 26 Outlaws - Back in the TBM days. (Team Baja Marine)

Far outside the envelope or far down the rabbit hole? Lol. Thanks, it is a lot of fun. Props have had mixed results so far, but the 5 blade cleaver, a 4 blade cleaver and even a maximus felt really good once, and ok other times. Have some more cleavers to test, 4 and 5 blades. I’m very curious to see how a smaller diameter 5 blade cleaver will do, so far I’ve only ran 17” diameter, which I think is adding at least some stern lift, negating good bow lift.

Yeah, the perils Baja prop testing. Did it bow steer on you yet? I was running box stock props when I hit a small wake and the bow caught water and took a quick right hander. Thats enough to scare the schit out of anyone. LOL

Hasn’t bow steered if the tabs are correct. If tabs are too far down she can catch and carve like a slalom skier in a wake but you pretty much have to try to do that and that’s at slower speeds. I’ve never used the tabs to an extreme at higher speeds, 50+, because of fear of that.
Thanks Kevin. She’s coming along. But still many props to play with.
