The P29 was and is a sweet boat. I always thought they were pretty cool.

When they were new they were not considered slow!

By todays standards maybe.

The bashers I have seen on this and other boards are real pricks. In most cases I think their life is a piece of $hit and they want to make sure no one else enjoys life either. They are lower than dirt. There is not one single reason for anyone to come on here and bash another mans boat.

What really makes me mad is that they NEVER have real, accurate, or complete details or information.

It is always something like this example:

Thread Starter; Hey, I am looking at a 1999 Baja 38 Special. My wife really loves the cuddy, I like the big 575'sc engines. How much is this boat worth and what experience have you had with 38 Specials?

Basher; A friend of my bought a 25 Outlaw used in 2000 and it was the biggest piece of $**** boat you have ever seen. I would not have a Baja!

What the Basher should say; I don't own a boat now because I am stupid. My homo boy friend is afraid of the water and wears a life ring when we are in the tub together. But if I ever win the lottery I plan to buy a 46 Skater with twin turbine engines that runs 250 MPH on GPS with a $100K custom paint job, because that is the only boat in the world worth having. Got to run, my boyfriend has his D___ stuck in something, bye for now. I will plan to come back on this board and post on threads that I can offer no factual information on though.

That's why we like you Dock. No sense in hiding the truth about bashers.

Dock- Thats probably the funniest coment I have seen on this board. You made my day.:d. To bad its true. Most of the bashers of Bajas just can't believe that you can actually buy a good boat for less than a million dollars, and if you do it just has to be a piece of chit. I don't get it.

I'll lay off the poor guy, but I think I might have stirred some trouble on the scarab board

This reminds me of a prominent Baja basher a while back who is vey outspoken of how a Baja is a POS, but finally we find out that he "rode in one once" and "knows someone who has one"!
