Please give us some feedback. Will be much appreciated.
I have a buddy that put 850 HP per side in a 2001 Baja 36 Outlaw and added 2 inch shorter IMCO's at the same time so we did not know if just the drives would have made much difference.
His both pushed 32 pitch props to a best of 94 MPH on GPS. Was a very strong setup!
He did not have any problems with handling, getting on plane or with the props blowing out. The package worked very well.
Good luck

Maybe, we have thought about that one. We did 7 poker runs this year, three of which we want to go back to next year.
There are three that we are considering, New York, Thousand Islands and East Side.
Have you done the New York run? Looks kind of crazy with all the boats?

If you have a hook in the back of the boat the shorties won't work so check that before
anything!!!!
We are going out this weekend and testing the shorties on a 99 36 outlaw with 500's i will post the results!!!!!!!

Here are the results on the 2 inch shortie put a set of 27 hydro's on could not get on plane
so changed the props to a set of 26 bravo's got on plane (it was real hard) but they sliped
a lot could only get 71 mph at 5350 rpm so we are putting a 1/2 spacer and try it again.

I see that Drill It has big HP, as does my friend. Wonder how this factors in against the stock 500's?
Have you spoken to IMCO?
I really appreciate you posting on here the results. This will certainly help a lot of us.
Good luck!
