Why don't you keep them and add spacers?

I Thought Of That But I Thought I Would Just Get Rid Of Them.and Try Something Else!!!!!!

Before I started all over I would keep the shorties and add extension boxes.

The boxes will but the drives lower and give you more leverage.

This was highly recommended for my buddy with the 31 Cig having the exact same problem you are.
