your superboat made it her this morning. It is cold and raining, so I haven't had a chance to dig into her yet, but she got here ahead of schedule

That is great she got there.
The cover is not all that waterproof so you might want to cover it with a trap.
The seats and such are in boxes and might get soggy.
I have the receipt for the tires and bearings on the trailer and I'll send it to you. I forgot to put it in the boat.
Did you get the Titles?
Keep us up to date with your project; it helps us Yankees make it through the cold months...

Hey Chad,
Get to work, we need progress pictures.
You had me out in the dark in 15° weather strapping those seats to a skid.
Man I'm glad you decided to take the whole boat off my hands.
Now I have room in my driveway for the new rig.

we didn't mount the drive, just rolled it up to the transom assembly. How do you measure it, straight edge the bottom of the V out to where the propshaft is and measure 90 degrees straight down ?? My bro said it looked about right, but he is an arneson guy go figure

it took an act of god to get that transom assembly off your old boat, you must have used 5200 to mount it, lol

I think 4200, but maybe 5200, can't remember.

As for the height of the drive:
The X dim is from the crankshaft center to the bottom of the boat. You want to be around 17-1/2" with a standard length drive. This would put the prop 4-1/2 to 5" below the bottom.
I believe this is where you want to set it up to run 3 and 4 blade props.
Give me a call if you want to talk about drive height and props. I've done a lot of testing on similar hulls.
You can also compare to the Super; it was right on the money.
