I agree,, I got a bad taste in my mouth when I pulled up the "Monster Marine" website - - and I didn't even get screwed, like others have.

I spoke with Mike and he has nothing to do with Trick. He was able to get the site and domain so he took it. He is trying to clear all the Trick stuff off ASAP.

Sounds like he got screwed too.

At this time it is best to take a wait and see approach. He has assured me that he will not be in competition with his dealers/distributors.

Remember - Gaffrig isn't the bad guy here.

I too will wait and see how this plays out.

Still seems weird Mike should let everyone know what is up site is functioning for online ordering as though he has all of the inventory or cut deals with all the mfgs already

How could anyone bring themselves to click on that site and buy anything. Just seems too odd that anyone would want to be bothered with the connection of FRED and the name Trick Marine PERIOD!

I made this comment to Fred in 2001, That was meant to be a joke, not a personal attack,

that is from a postmade I made in 2001, as a joke.

He sent an a nasty e-mail, in response, right then and there I thought he was a douche bag. And based on his dealings/screwing-over customers, my assumption, though six plus years later, is correct. DOUCHE BAG.

Sorry to hear cusotmers, fellow OSO members (and others)got screwed over. A day of reckoning for Trick Marine will come.

Yeah, he sent me a pm a yr ago too complaining of a comment I made about his advertiseing practice. Basically, he was ragging on another advertisors product and I said don't try to build your product up by knocking anothers down. Freddy didn't like it that I gave him lesson 101 in business.

I'm surprised this tread is still going on! Not that I want it to stop or keep going... just surprised! Where are we going? when is it gonna end? Are we really still waiting for a Fred coming out?
