PI, Hats off to you about your Hydro Plane racing days---and I'm glad you had fun. In 1967 I was about 8-9 years old. Back then, I was having my fun rowing an old little flat bottom wooden row boat.

I believe you were sincere about wishing peace and freedom on me. And for that I will say something sincerely back to you (of which I am quite sure I will be mocked, scoffed at and flamed for),----I may not be as old and as wise as you, but wise enough to know that all the engine, boating and racing knowledge you, me or anyone else knows is not going to get us in the pearly gates at the end of our lives----it just ain't gonna matter at the end of the day,----and that is the TRUTH,....but that's an entirely different story. PM me and I'd be sincerely happy to share the details with you if you like.

In the mean time, we're here to let the unsuspecting folks know about Mr. Roccard's deceptive business practices and try to keep a lttle peace on earth while we're still alive---because 100 piddly years from now, boats, engines, $$$, and who beat who will be the last thing on our mind in the light of eternity.

And now you know a little more about me and where I'm coming from...just so happens I like Hi-Perf Offshore boating too----All of God's Peace and Freedom back to you!

I hear you, but as I have said before, many of us OSO'rs (me included) were here years ago when Roccard began tossing out his scamming bait by making outrageous claims like 750hp out of a NA 502cid. I remember specifically because he was trying to sell it to all of us here on OSO. Here are a few examples of some posts Roccard made 6-7 years ago....

Here's a post Roccard made back on 7-13-2005...

"Interested in rebuilding your 454's and getting 650-750 hp from them and avoiding the agrevation of the swap? Let me know if interested.
Thx Mike

Here's another customer back in 9-21-2005 asking about his 454cid engines...

"I have twin 454 efi mags with 385hp,I would like to get 500 to 550 hp out of them. I want to stay with efi.
Some idea's I have are: Raise compression from 8.5 to 10:1"

And here's Roccard's response....

"The easiest way to see that HP is to go aspirated and do some port work to the heads and a cam change. With good port work and a nice cam it would not be hard to get as much as 650+hp. If you are interested in doing this let me know.
Thx Mike

Here is Roccard responding to an OSO'r regarding a repower on his 330hp/454cid engines....

"Dock if you are interested in rebuilding and modifyling what you have we can give you as much as 650+ hp from your 454's with some mods and without blowers. Give me a call or shoot me an Email if you woulld like to know more.
Thx Mike

9-29-2005 "502 Engine Upgrade" Roccard commenting on his LESS TEMPERMENTAL/MORE RELIABLE 750+hp 502cid engines...

"You could get alot of HP from port work on your heads, ballancing your internals, degreeing your cam and some carb work. What are the specs of the engines. Compression, heads, intake ect ? We have gotten as much as 750hp from aspirated 502 already with those mods which leave you a less tempermental and more reliable engine. If you would like to know more give me a call or email me.
Thx Mike

Plus numerous things that Artifriends has brought up concerning Roccard's business practices and professional workmanship.

Also, why can't Roccard give us his physical shop address/location?

ya about the best you'll ever get outta a GM steel head is 308? how the fu*k would one ever expect 750 hp on a 454 without a blower? I would find it difficult to reach that even with one, thats 750 true (real) H.P. that is, not benchtop 750 H.P.

GM 088 rect port heads... they'll flow to 308cfm then hit a brick wall ten feet tall!! however that is plenty to fill a small BBC of 454 ci... unless one plans to rev the perverbial bag off that thing, I dunno how one would expect more than 500 HP again real HP

When Roccard was aked this very question not only did he say it could be done but that he could "magically" do it with 9-1 compression, a hyd roller, NORMALLY ASPIRATED, NO POWER ADDERS and it would idle all day long around the docks and thru no wake zones!!!!!!
