If the insurance company isnt taking in more than its paying out, it goes broke, doesnt make money for the company owner/shareholders etc. Doing everything it can to prevent paying claims and paying as little as possible is in the BEST INTEREST of the insurance company. A buisness not a charity, they are there for the shareholders, NOT YOU. So WTF is this biotch ass pansy whinning because the company is doing what its supposed too and taking your money, and passing it on to the shareholders. Cant help but disagree. Seeing as how insurance in many/most cases is compulsory, it technically is not a "free market" driven by consumers.

Yes we are mostly republicans until the free market gets in the way of our boating, i.e. high gas prices and insurance premiums. Then we do turn into a bunch of Nancy Pelosi-like whiny bethches calling for gov intervention.

Auto liability in most states is....nothing compulsory about boat insurance...sure the finance company wants you to have ins. but then again ..free market, nobody is pointing a gun to your head to make you go into debt to buy a boat, plus it would be bad buisness to lend money without some kind of hedge on your bet like ins. buy the borrower...... feel free to start your own boat fiancing company that doesnt require ins.....

Agree with you 100%

We call them " insurance companies" and " oil companies" which are supposedly big black demons.

In fact they are all mostly public companies that have shareholders that include your grandmothers , your priest , your wives and your parents , who ALL want a profit.
Oh yeah I forgot......even some of the members here may own stock in there someplace.

Why was the name of the North Texas Yacht broker omitted from the story? Seems like a "low" blow that they outed everyone else in the story but left his name out.
