well I can say this if I had a problem with any member on here # 1 I would not file a complaint without speaking to the seller first ...after all this is not ebay its a small community of guys that pretty much know each other mainly by talking to each other and offering advice and sometimes selling parts .so stiffing a guy with a bad part is hardly worth your name on here
# 2 I sell a lot on ebay mainly Harley parts well over $130.000 this year so I know how the system works ..I hate when pay pal gets involved they usually side with the buyer ive been there .so im sure when pay pal got involved he figured he was done (I know the feeling ) plus he says he was out of town at 1 point # 3 the right thing would have been get his # and give him a call and work it out over the phone ..hell with rich ill bet you guys would have been talking for hours boats and such # 4 now im no commander sander cheerleader by any means .however he has bought parts from me I remember him buying power bolster seats from me said he would take them give me your bank of America acct # and ill make a dep in your acct he set up shipping told me take your time getting it ready for p/u . another time he had an item on here for sale I wanted. however he needed some hyd steering parts and he knows I part boats so he shipped the part to me with the thought we would swap some stuff however I never got any ..he waited a year never asked once for his $450.00 until he recently parted out his 357 himself . you will find rich is a man of principle not a guy out to rip you off for a lousy $200 so I say give rich a call straighten it out put it in the past just my 2 cents rant over When you list an item you assume an obligation to stay in touch. The buyer has established himself as "trustworthy" on e-bay with his 151 (100%+) rating. I say send him a prepaid return label and make the refund when shipper picks up. |
I tried to keep this private, ( see post #58 ), and did. Then commandersander decided to start this one sided bashing post. I didn't see it for a week and he and his buddies had a field day. When I posted the actual facts,( Post 58 ) they all went away, including him. It is on him to step up, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I can't believe there is this much drama over 200 bucks. That is less than half a tank of fuel in most of our boats and less than most of us use in a weekend.
Send the guy back his $200 bucks. I don't see how it is about the principle of things when you delayed shipping and mistakenly forgot to ship a key component rendering the inverter useless. |

I do know the following: I took pictures as is/was and posted them. Not clean, not sand riddled, not doa. I was late to ship, and as a gesture of apology for the delay, paid for the shipping and sent the receipt and tracking# Two weeks later (I think this is where he is getting this time frame from) he writes that HE was on vacation....not me. Any of the mods can confirm whether or not I had a 2-week hiatus...... I meant to put "?" At the end of the "so I'll send the panel"...... No reply. Meanwhile, I have an email in my home inbox dated prior to his contact to me post vacation disputing the charge. Two days later, I have another showing the reversal of the funds. A week later I get another stating my account is being forwarded to collections. Now, I tell dale that I am growing tired of him. He won't pay to ship back, shorted me on the initial pmt, I ate shipping and he's jerking me around with paypal. Yeah, growing tired. I didn't start this as a bash fest, but more for candid conversation. It's the Bullsheet two story he's spewing now, and the runaround he gave me before I posted. As far as dignity and principle, I hold myself at the highest standard. I'm on ebay too, same name....also 100%, also over 100 trans. Check it out.... At this point, from the paypal stunt and jack around over return don't return but you aren't paying.....umm.....how is it that you are out anything? I have the email stating the money was taken out and returned to you......I am in paypal collections......I'm out the inverter....and shipping...... Tell you what, I have a control panel for the xantrex for only 200usd! But don't send it to me, take it to Red Cross and email the receipt. You'll be helping someone at that point..... |
