FWIW, my 28' Convincor has twins (which may not relate too well to this discussion) with 27P Mirage +'s and I can trim it way outta the water. It'll get very loose before it starts blowing the props out. I'm beginning some prop education so I'm learning. The extra stern weight may affect that, too. Some of you guys would know better than me at this point.

ive also ran the bravo with and without a nose cone, nose cones creat alot of mid slip!! i am running a 25 mirage 3 blade right now (until i get an xr or xr upper) i get a ton of mid slip if im not real easy on the sticks, that is with the nose cone, without it, it is not bad....

I have a nose cone. Previous owner had a monster power plant. I heard triple digits on a radar run. I don't think I need it but I'm pretty much stuck with. Worst part about it is the low water pick-up in the front of the cone. It's like a vacuum cleaner and sucks up anything.
We'll see.
