Nice boat, they do ride pretty good for the size. Very solid when you launch off a wake. I run low 70's which is pretty fast in that hull. There is another 229 here running a Ford big block 600hp over 80mph.

would like to see some pics of yours. These are great boats. A couple of years back, this boat ran a best of 81 on radar at a poker run. That was with fumes in the tank, and one person. with a full tank, couple of people and full gear, it will run 74-76.
these are fast speeds with this hull. I'm running a bravo drive with 1:36 and a 25 mirage plus. gets a little hairy at 73 and up depending on conditions. I have tabs on it and the chine walk is there, but not bad.

I put a 24 hydromotive 4 blade on last year and eliminated most of my chine walk problems, unless I over trim. I also have tabs which are extremely sensitive. Minor changes really effect the attitude of the boat.
