My buddy bought it from Lake Cumberland Marine. Cant remember the year, but he has owned it for 6-7 years now.

It's a doppelganger for sure. He had the same Crocket upgrades, same colors, same trailer, etc. I think the only difference is he had Dana or some other aftermarket tabs (280 style) instead of Merc 280's. If the port side of the windshield frame is slightly bent back then it is the boat I'm thinking of.

Secondwind (the original owner) has a pic of the back of the boat posted here in this thread --> K-Planes on a 253

An 18 yr old boat for $37k? Maybe if it had new OE Merc power with warranty. Must not be serious about selling.

x2 great looking boat but a perfect 2000 259 with 565 power just sold on powerboat swap shop for 26k. I couldn't get there quick enough.

I know the owner of that boat very well. I couldn't believe how he gave that thing away knowing what he has into it. That boat didn't have full dual hydraulic steering or merc K-planes though like my friends does nor a brand new Max Machine works drive and transom assembly. Trailer is also an 08 on my friends which adds a bit more. Yes same hull, but enough differences between the two.

For an 18 year old boat $26k may even be a little high, since the power wasnt newer and with warranty. Your friends boat however, is way high IMO, on price for such an older boat. Especially since its not OE power and isnt going to be easily financed by a bank. Fair mkt value on this boat is between $20-$25k, unless it has newer upgraded Merc power, gauges, controls, wiring etc.
