Dash plates came out great! Will clear them today so we can return them to Lofty for final touches. The cockpit is painted and will get pictures of it today.

The picture does the dashplate no justice. It looks really good with the detailing in the flames.

So, that's it so far. Should be clearing by mid-week.

Hey Rob,

Were you the guy who was going to come up with some kind of zipper hatch door? I want to change mine, and I think it is the same as yours.

I'm curious if you are the one who mentioned it, and what you idea was.

Thanks!

Yes fund, we are the ones who are replacing our current cabin door with a zipper door. It's in the process of being done as I type and should be done sometime next week.

I believe what Rob said we were going to have the vinyl edges sewed over an aluminum frame and screw that back onto our existing frame, and place a zipper down the middle that will go from the entire length of the cabin door with snaps on the bottom outside.

When that gets done we'll take some photos and post them as well.

Thanks Barb.

I am pretty sure that I have the same companionway hatch opening that you guys do. Was formerly the folding door with the lifting top. The last guy who owned my boat took the doors of and you can still put them in place, but they are super heavy. I have been going without a door.

Maybe something like what you guys do would work for me.

Have a good one, thanks for the response.
